For my Good

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Genesis 50:20

This verse came from the story of Joseph.

Joseph’s brothers were envious of him because their father, Jacob, favored Joseph.

The brothers allowed their envy to get the best of them, and they sold Joseph into slavery.

During the time of Joseph being in prison, he gained favor with the pharaoh by interpreting the pharaoh’s dreams.

Then Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the whole land of Egypt.

People may try to harm us. People may try to tell lies to us. People may try to ruin our future, reputation, or our lives. God turns everything around.

People may try to do evil things against us, but God will use it for our good.
