Rumination

Obsessing, overthinking, overwhelmed, tired, emotional, worried…

These are adjectives that we might describe someone who dwells on things.

Constantly having fear of what might happen that it holds you back from moving forward.

Why do we dwell on things?

I ask myself this all the time…

I often let circumstances, my mind, and anxiety steal my joy.

Life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it – Charles Swindoll

rumination: The process of continuously thinking about the same thoughts, which tend to be sad or dark.

Rumination can be dangerous for someone’s mental health.

This can cause someone to become depressed, isolate themselves, unable to process their emotions, and unable to think properly.

One tip Health Line suggest is to take action!

You need to address what the problem is and try to take small steps to solve what the problem.

When dwelling and overthinking about the problem can cause you to make the problem bigger than what it is…

Take things step by step.
