Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. –

Philippians 3:13-15

When we think of regrets in our life we automatically think of the wrong we have done. Our past mistakes haunt us at times. The question “what if I could change my past?”

The enemy makes us believe we can not escape our past.  No matter where we go or what we do our mistakes will always be there.

I often hear it is not the will of God to live in misery. I have to agree with that. Most of the time we make ourselves miserable living in the past.

We regret the sin in our lives, the opportunities we did not take , the places we did not go ,the people we did not save , the pain we have caused to others , and the goals we did not reach.

We forget that God gives us a new day. Every time we open our eyes we have the opportunity to achieve anything. Everyday is a new day for new beginnings.

A new day will dawn on us from above because our God is loving and merciful. – Luke 1:78

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. –

Psalms 118:24

Do not let your past take away from your future. Day by day make a change in your life to put God first.
