Enemies

Growing up we have been told to turn the other cheek. To keep your head up and don’t let them get to you.

But when is enough simply enough ?

I have turned the other cheek. I have held my tongue. I try not let my anger consume me. Day after day dealing with people that want to see me fail. People that don’t want me to have success and happiness in life.

As Christian we have to bite our tongue. Be anger and sin not.

When are we not suppose to be kicked around anymore?

I do believe we have to let God handle our enemies , but I don’t think we have to put up with it either. God has called us to be strong and victorious.

How to get rid of negative people?

It’s easy. You have to let them go. Find a way to get them out of your life. Love and pray for them in a distance.

If people are affecting you from reaching your goals in life you have to let them go. Don’t let them have anymore control.

People have hurt and betrayed me to the point it affected my walk with God. I had to learn to not give people power over my own life. We have to remember it is our life. We have control who we let into it.

  2. This is so true! I’ve given friends in the past multiple chances when they’ve walked over me. God has used the scripture, “Do not throw your pearls only for them to be trampled underfoot.” We can forgive, we can try to move forward with people. But there does indeed come a time when we can shake the dust off, and move on ourselves.
